Our Full Range of Services

From farm to buyer, SKEL supports farmers at every step of the agricultural value chain. We work directly with out-growers across Acholi, Lango and West Nile to source quality grain, then carry that grain through processing, storage and onward sale, giving both farmers and buyers a single partner they can rely on from harvest to delivery.

Grain Collection & Milling

We collect maize directly from farmers, mill it into quality flour and distribute it to local markets. Every batch passes through our cleaning and grading process before milling, helping us deliver flour that households and traders can depend on for consistency, batch after batch.

5
Sorghum marketing

We purchase sorghum from farmers and supply it directly to Uganda Breweries Limited and other industrial buyers. Our role goes beyond simply moving grain. We work with farmers ahead of each season to align what they grow with what buyers actually need, reducing waste and strengthening the price farmers receive.

8
Seed supply

We distribute quality seeds to farmers, helping improve both yield and crop consistency season after season. Access to good seed is often the first barrier smallholder farmers face, and closing that gap is one of the most direct ways we help raise output across our network.

4
Farmer training

We train farmers on best agricultural practices and sensitise youth, men and women on the value of farming as a livelihood. Our extension officers work on the ground in each region, sharing practical techniques in land preparation, planting, pest management and post-harvest handling

Market access

We market agricultural produce on behalf of farmers, connecting their harvest to reliable and paying buyers. For many smallholder farmers, finding a trustworthy buyer is harder than growing the crop itself. SKEL removes that uncertainty by offering a consistent route to market every season.

Storage & employment

We offer storage facilities for hire and create part-time opportunities for women and youth as casual workers and field agents. Beyond grain handling, this work generates real seasonal income for people across the communities we operate in, from loading and storage to weighing and logistics support.

Our Legacy

14 years of Trusted Excellence

Rooted in the North. Built on trust.

We did not start with a factory or a fleet. We started with relationships, with farmers, communities and buyers who needed a partner they could count on. Since 2010, Stella Keitirima Enterprises has honoured that responsibility through every season, every region and every sack of grain. That is our legacy, and it keeps growing with every harvest.
